Review of Chungking Express (1994) by Chantale L — 29 May 2009
A really unique film, that really shows the difference between Asian and American culture. The director doesn't feel the need to explain, to conclude and even less the need for a happy ending. He is inviting us to observe the life of chosen strangers and even though it feels like voyeurism sometimes, it is an enjoyable journey.
