It's a very complex, sometimes baffling movie; the second story is very confusing to follow and demands a second viewing. However I will gladly return to experience the vibrancy and visual dazzle of the stunning cinematography, and charm of the quirky and endearing characters.
It's unique, unconventional and essential viewing as one of the great Hong Kong movies.
