Review of C.H.U.D. (1984) by Christopher S — 20 Apr 2009
Forgettable B-movie horror has an original premise, but never really lives up to its potential. A strong cast (including a bit part from a young John Goodman) and some fun creature effects, but the story is bland and predictable and the production values are cheap - the whole film is lacking in suspense and atmosphere.
Not a terrible movie, but not too entertaining either.
