Review of C.H.U.D. (1984) by Charles C — 05 Jul 2012

A mostly uninspired and surprisingly boring monster flick that nevertheless entertains and delivers what it promises. It unexpectedly handles several character subplots very well. It had a lot going for it, like it's subversive attitude and rich vs poor elements, but it didn't seem to know how to end, stopping short of a logical exit point and leaving me wanting an actual conclusion.

While enjoyable, you're not missing much by passing it up.
