Review of Chronicle of a Summer (1961) by Daniel C — 06 Oct 2008
I can't think of another filmmaker with such a conviction and earnest ethic sensibility toward his work, and relationship to the people he films, as Rouch. You can really tell when Rouch breaks away from Morin's structure in the last 3rd of the film, which is just gorgeous.
One of the best films ever made.
