Review of Christmas in Connecticut (1945) by Joel H — 24 Dec 2014
Christmas in Connecticut stretches believability almost to the breaking point. This movie is so dependent on coincidences and misunderstandings to further the plot that it becomes ridiculous. And yet, there is something oddly charming about this silly story.
S.Z. Sakall is particularly entertaining as Uncle Felix. There are better Christmas movies out there, but this one isn't bad.
