Review of Christine (1987) by Cat B — 19 May 2008
A car that kills? Doesn't sound like much of a film does it? However never judge a book, or car...by it's cover.
Christine proved to be a very entertaining and satisfying film. King's story was an effective transfer to the screen, and Carpenter clearly played a big part in this. The casting was good; though somewhat unknown the acting was good and believable. The transformation of Arnie(geek to cool to scary teen) was very well shown, mainly through attitude.
Some memorable quotes are sure to raise a giggle from you.
