Review of Christina's House (2000) by Nawie M — 07 Feb 2009
[font=Arial Black]A-list type acting although most of the actors of the time were unknown to the vast public save for Christina's father who was played by an experienced veteran 70's/80's actor.
The film had had a good balance between hiding the eventual suprise and early character exposure which really kept the audience guessing at who the attic killer was. Further, the sequencing of scenes was correct in that the movie incrementally revealed what a horror/suspense thriller should; not too much, but not too little; not too early.
Even the young beautiful actress revealed just enough nudity in the bath tub to keep the audience focused on the unknown and not eroticism- Good call. I would say that this film really does rank up there with films like, "THEY" and " HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL".
