Review of Chopping Mall (1986) by Nathan R — 26 Oct 2006
So I recieved my copy of Chopping Mall in the mail yesterday and I was anxious to watch it. Well it was kind of good and bad. I thought it had some good kills, but I couldn't get over how dumb the robots looked. Oh yeah it's about a mall with new high tech security robots that turn into killers after a freak lightning storm. So of course not long after the mall gets these new robots a few teens decide to throw a party in one of the stores they work in the same night the lightning hits. It's vintage 1980's horror the whole vibe.
The acting bad. The sound bad. The Robots bad. The kills pretty good.
Unless you collect horror movies, just stick with renting this one for a good night of laughs and nostalgia.
