Review of Choke (1971) by Jake P — 28 Jul 2012
There's a lot of ideas that never seem to come full circle but by the end that didn't seem to bother me much. I thought about the film & its characters long after the movie was over. Other than Fight Club I'm not familiar with Chuck Palahniuk's work but I could sense the cynical, worldly, humorous tones in his storytelling style overtly.
Choke's a mixed bag but there's lots of intriguing stuff in that bag.
