Opens with a mystique & ends with charm. Great storytelling, Juliette is beautiful to watch & the supporting cast was great. How nice to see Leslie Caron still looking elegant as an elderly woman.
Lena Olin, Judi Dench, Carrie-Anne Moss, Johnny Deop & Alfred Molina all shine. What a great scene when Alfred Molina gets a tiny amount of chocolate in his mouth & he suddenly understands Juliette's character.
Lasse Hallstrom at his best. Now skip "Dear John", unless you want to see him at his worst.
