Review of Chocolat (2000) by Ahmedaiman1999 — 10 Apr 2020

It tastes so familiar, it's rough around the edges and it's stuffed with sugar rather than being coated with it. That said, its pure dark chocolate coating and vintage cover made it an irresistible treat.

Seriously though, I thought this is going to be an overly-sentimental romance film but it turned out to be a heart-warming, whimsical and charming fairy-tale like story that has something of Oscar Wilde about it. And on top of that, Juliette Binoche delivered a fantastic performance here.
