The Child's Play remake isn't as bad as I've thought. Brad Dourif is heavily missed as Chucky, even if Mark Hamill was a nice replacement choice but most of the other aspects of the film was correct. Chucky's swearing isn't enough constant sadly and the film isn't scary at all, but some gory scenes well worth the watch.
It was in no way frightening as the original Child's Play and was by far less funny than Bride of Chucky but at least it was better than Chucky 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7. So it's overall a correct experience.
