Review of Children of Men (2006) by Matt C — 17 Oct 2017
I called this the best movie of 2006, when I first saw it. Four viewings later, and it has continued to get better. It is bleak, hopeful, intense, redemptive, and it looks great. Theo Faron is one of the best characters in movie history, and the scene where the chaos stops as shocked soldiers clear way for the baby to get out of harms way is one of the handful of best scenes ever filmed.
