Review of Child of Sorrow (1956) by Anthony V — 14 Dec 2010
Makes an attempt at psychological horror and character elements, rather than just being a monster movie, which is nice. The problem is the characters just aren't that interesting and are downright stupid at times.
When things really get moving in this film, most of the characters' sympathy is gone. Had I liked or related to the characters more, my enjoyment of this film would have increased. From all reports, the book is much better.
