Review of Child of Sorrow (1956) by Tony F — 24 Apr 2011
To this day, The Ruins by Scott Smith would have to be one of the most disturbing novels i've ever read. Now, there's nothing I hate more than movie-goers and critics crying over how the book is better than the film, but i'm afraid it is the case here. The locale, order of events and situations, and most importantly, the ending have all been changed completely for reasons I really can't assume why. Nothing good came of it.
Save the 90 mins you'll spend watching this and invest it into reading the book.
