Review of Chéri (2009) by Kobus K — 12 Nov 2009
Not a terrible movie from the great stephen frears, but certainly a lackluster one. this film failed to keep me fully intrigued for the full hour and a half, and the ending feels very abrupt, if not totally depressing and weakly written.
I also felt that I never really cared for either main character, rupert friend coming off as a robert pattinson clone to me. if they ever needed to replace edwad in the 'twilight' series, this guy could do it without much notice.
