Review of Che: Part One (2008) by Alex F — 10 May 2009
Average. Fair play to Steven Soderbergh for making it in Spanish otherwise it could have been in danger of being cartoonish. I think movies shouldn't have Spanish speaking characters speaking in English and always with over the top silly accents.
Also I think it's unnatural and takes away credibility. For me the best actor was Demian Bichir as Fidel Castro although Del Toro was good too. These are the only two oustanding things about the film, the acting and the fact that it was in Spanish.
