Review of Che: Part One (2008) by Lee C — 23 Jan 2014
I ventured into Che (part 1) knowing nothing about the man or his outlook on life. Having seen the film now I see a man driven by his desire for a free country and a passionate belief in his view. The film portrays him, not as a perfect icon, but a character with flaws.
This realistic shooting of the film means that you shouldn't expect the usual guns, bullets and explosions of sensationalist war films. Real immersion into the storyline rewards the viewer with the reality of conflict and the how people can be driven by the vision of one man.
