Review of Che: Part One (2008) by Chris H — 25 Apr 2014
Che: Part One feels lengthy with its several (almost overly) talkative scenes featuring historical characters that are, at the least, performed brilliantly. The execution of the film's pacing is accompanied by smooth editing, a vibrant use of colors and wide shots, and fleeting moments of gritty action.
The story, though a historical one, is still very heavy with its politics which may either lose or catch the interest of differing audience members.
