Review of Chasing Mavericks (2012) by Todd S — 04 Nov 2012
Saw this film tonight. I liked it, but I'm not sure how many others would share my opinion. Northern California surf culture is quite a bit different than anywhere else. This film was was made to honor that distinct difference and honor the kind of surfer who can drop in on a 5 story wave.
If you've ever surfed, then you'll appreciate this film, especially the amazing sound capture of the monstrous waves at Mavericks.
