Review of Charlotte Gray (2001) by Kate D — 13 Oct 2007
Unfairly ignored upon it's release, this little gem features a slew of great performances(Crudup and the formidable Blanchett are standouts)and some great moments. Beautifully made, with sumptuous photography, and Armstrong's subtle direction, always tense, but never showy, it boils down to a great story, beautifully told and well worth a second look.
