Review of Charlotte Gray (2001) by Wiebke K — 27 Jun 2010
Cate Blanchett joins the French Resistance to find her downed pilot boyfriend, only to find herself blowing up trains, trying to rescue Jewish children and falling in love with the leader of the Resistance.
I found the movie dragging at times, though the scenery is quite lovely. Had some issues with the male characters, and with the apparent fact that someone can just waltz in and out of Vichy France under German occupation.
