Review of Charlie Wilson's War (2007) by Ruhan R — 21 Jun 2011
Charlie Wilson's War was one of those films made entirely to honour a man for his achievements and glamorize him as much as possible. With Tom Hanks charm that was no problem in this film. I've never been a huge Julia Roberts fan but I suppose she did a pretty good job here too.
I really liked Phillip Seymour Hoffman's performance as Gust Avrokotos, especially in his introductory scene. Overall a decent flick for anyone who can appreciate a docudrama.
