Review of Chariots of Fire (1981) by Aparna D — 04 Oct 2008

I found myself totally engrossed in this superbly enacted movie( with Ian Charleson and Ben Cross at the helm) but then maybe the resaon for that could be that I thouroughly enjoy all these movies that are based on competitive sports .The drama that builds up gradually ,manages to drive the theme home quite powerfully towards the end.The two English competitors are compelled by their respective burning desire to get home a gold at the 1924 Olympics.

So whats your hurry , find some time and a little patience to watch this Oscar winning internationally acclaimed true story.
