I am officially a Neil Bomkamp fan. I loved District 9 and I loved Chappie. Sadly, I don't think this movie will get the recognition it deserves due to what seem to be dismal box office earnings. The movie was not as hardcore as district 9 in that it wasn't trying to make a comment on the human condition.
It was a genuinely funny, entertaining movie. Could not recommend enough. Don't listen to the artsy fartsy critics.
