Review of Chaplin (2011) by Jon S — 20 Jul 2009
At the start of this movie, I felt like I was watching a made for TV version of A Christmas Carol or Oliver, but as soon as RDJ takes over the role of Charlie Chaplin, the movie gets a lot better. His performance was admirable and believable.
While there are a few cheesy moments, my overall impression of this film was positive, and it left me with a greater appreciation for the works of a master entertainer.
