It's all been done before, but it's certainly done well enough here. I appreciate that Freddie isn't immediately a dreamer, but his transition does seem pretty thorough pretty quickly.
This isn't the laugh-out-loud comedy I was expecting from the Gervais/Merchant team, but there is plenty of comic relief.
