Review of Cell (2016) by Robert D — 21 Aug 2016
Well, I see why it's 0% Fresh. This was really disappointing because I liked the Stephen King book and the movie stars John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson, but they both look bored to tears. The screenplay was cowritten by King, but everything looks so cheap and uninspired.
There is shaky-cam action, shoddy makeup and lots of god-awful CGI effects for explosions and fire. Why did this happen?
