Review of Cell (2016) by Bryan D — 31 Dec 2016
This was one that I hesitated watching since it came out. I am a huge Stephen King fan and did enjoy the source material. However, like the movie I think the whole concept was rushed and not explored. It is not one of his stronger novels to begin with.
The cast is fine but the overall production is very low budget.
Still. The concept is brilliant. The idea behind everything that a rogue signal in our cellphones turns everyone into a hive mind works. Yet, as I said, it's never explored properly.
