Elizabeth Taylor is 'Maggie the cat'. She has lost the affections of her handsome but alcoholic husband (Paul Newman). And she has no idea why. While celebrating her father-in-law's 65th birthday Maggie finally comes clean about a painful secret her husband refuses to hear.
Chaos ensues. A wonderful movie with top-of-the-line performances. A personal favourite.
