Review of Casualties of War (1989) by Haytham K — 25 Nov 2007
The film is more about the realities of war rather than about war itself. Though not among the best among war films, yet it delivers a powerful story: how trigger-happy soldier boys cross the line between dignity into savagery.
The rape scene of the vietnamese girl and her murder is really disturbing, and the score by Ennio Morricone is beautifully haunting.
