Review of Cassandra's Dream (2007) by Matt D — 14 Oct 2009
This story of two brothers (Ewan McGregor, Colin Farrell) who are desperate to better their troubled lives shows Post-Noir tendencies of Woody Allen's latest directing directions. Someone can put this story of a chronic gambler in debt over his head, and his brother who's in love with a beautiful actress he has recently met, in the category of thrillers but for me is just another human behavioural study of the Master Allen (Woody).
