Review of Cashback (2007) by Joey N — 07 Feb 2009
Though I know a lot of people might be turned off by the gratuitous nudity in this flick, I was willing to take a step back and loot at its perspective as a film trying to analyze the world of an artist and his ability to view beauty and time.
I thought the acting was great, and the pacing deftly slipped between knee-slapping comedy to introspective moments with ease. In the end, I thought it was an interesting, if not slightly amateuristic love story that I could absolutely find myself sitting through again.
Glad to see Sean Biggerstaff do something a bit bigger since his crush-for-girls roll as Oliver the Keeper in the first two Harry Potter films.
