Review of Cashback (2007) by Mark A — 14 Sep 2013
This turned out to be a pleasant surprise, more than I expected. From the cover art I expected gratuitous sex and nudity. What I got was a thoughtful story about living your dream and dreaming big. Yes it is slow to develop.
Yes there was nudity. The young man is an artist who sees things differently than the slackers around him. He is surrounded by the beauty in the everday mundane that assaults his senses. What is wrong with that? He expects more from life and he gets it.
And in the end he gets to live his dream.
