It looks like someone had a really good idea for a movie and started it well, but then had no idea where to go next, so they half-assed it until the end. It looks like someone tried to fit a poetic comedy drama into an American Pie type movie.
Sean Ellis could have successfully taken the movie in one of two different directions, and instead went in both, ending in partial disaster.
