Review of Cashback (2007) by Ro D — 19 Apr 2009
This movie seemed like a very self indulgent project for the director on many levels which I guess it should be since it is the director's vision. From the fresh out of film school eye candy shots to the slow pace and artsy themes, I could definitely see the director's personality. I didn't dislike it, but I have two questions concerning it. 1, why did they introduce the second character in the frozen world and then not elaborate on him? and 2, if the blonde girl came into the gallery and saw images of herself nude wouldn't she wonder how the fuck he knew what she looked like? Kung fu guy was the best.
2009 Movies: 61.
