Review of Case 39 (2009) by Renae A — 06 Oct 2011
Renee Zellweger does an outstanding job in the title role of Emily Jenkins. I would watch this movie at least one or two more times if not more. It was for me one of the best of the newer movies to come out and I really enjoyed this movie.
I jumped a bit on more than a few occasions. The little girl Lily really makes you wonder about a lot of real life situations involving children. LOL She plays her role wonderfully and is very scary at times.
I gave it a 4 star rating just because it was suspenseful enough to keep me on the edge of my seat at times. The lack of a 5 star rating is due to the fact that it still lacked enough to scare the crap out of me.
Still I recommend that anyone that calls themselves a fan of horror to give this movie a chance. It too is on Netflix at the moment.
