Commercial Nand mainstream, the reused plot of the devilish child could have taken a better path if this movie was better developed, since Renee Zellweger's performance is pretty good, and you can feel her own chills.
On the other hand, we don't even have an explanation for the kid's existence, weaknesses (that the parents were already aware of), and so on. Needed a deeper plot, further development and less cliches.
