Review of Carol (1990) by David M — 12 Jul 2016

This is a very pretty movie with a slow pace, a little too slow for me. I loved seeing all the fifties era costumes and cars, having started watching Mad Men I was ready for more. I had no idea what this movie was about and loved to see the interpersonal character development.

I don't think I will watch it again, but it was a good movie. At first I was having issues with Cate Blanchett she always gives me a feeling of aloofness. Something about her is very regal and it comes off pompous a bit sometimes.

Once I got past that I really liked the movie.
