Review of Carnival of Souls (1962) by Tico P — 30 Jul 2007
An eerie ghost ghoul story from 1962. A woman crashes off a bridge during a drag race. The atmosphere in this odd film is creepy and weird. The low budget of the whole production enhances the narratives authenticity, making this a cult classic.
Nice black and white photography and clumsy editing help the films look and mood. Avoid at all costs the 1998 remake if you by don't want to ruin this little film. Obnoxious characters and ghouls.
Not for all tastes.
