Review of Carnage (2014) by P. P — 27 Jun 2014
An intriguingly verbose film about adult arguments, which aren't that different from playground jousts. I preferred the stage version of this play to Polanski's version. However, this adaptation is still worth seeing.
The dialogue goes fast and furious and feels somewhat unnatural on screen. But the script is smart and the tension and hilarity build as the characters gradually reveal their true colours.
