A warm and beautiful film. Its humour is gentle, its characters are subtle and its story is touching and political and tragic all at the same time.
Some beautiful writing - particularly in the scenes between the two elderly ladies, and the scene in which the policeman watches Layale. Wonderfully shot in lovely warm colours too.
