Review of Caramel (2007) by Alicia W — 26 Sep 2016

A sweet movie that revolves around the hopes and fears of five quite different yet similar women. I found the stories and interactions to be realistic and heart warming as well as sometimes heart breaking.

However I think the fact that five women's situations are being explored means that we never quite get to know any of the characters well enough to feel a special affinity with them. Overall an enjoyable film.
