Review of Caramel (2007) by Cecilia K — 31 May 2008
Not so different romantic comedy than most in terms of its themes, but it differs itself because of the setting that makes those themes tabu - almost to the point that they're punishable by law. And even though those underlying themes are bitter to the main protagonists, the movie itself is very sweet, just like caramel, on the outside.
A perfect combination for our tastebuds.
