This is not a must see movie. It is a good way to see Beirut and learn about the Christian and Muslim way of life. I wanted to see the inside of the lifestyle of average people living in Beirut. I enjoyed seeing a wedding, a beauty shop, a few homes.
The plot was fairly weak and I didn't get too attached to the characters. I liked how the characters started conversations in French and then switched to Arabic. What I know about Lebanon is what I see on the news.
I wanted to see a snippet of daily life. I just enjoyed being transported to another culture for a sort time.
