Review of Caramel (2007) by Marta K — 14 Feb 2011
A story about life of 5 women whose paths intersected in a beauty salon. I guess the plot line is... bit like life, however pathetic it may sound - about the search of happiness and attempts to discover it in one's everyday routine. If "the ideal" doesn't seem to come, let's just create it in the surroundings - it's an art to be able to do it.
And the double edged sword of caramel - sweet but may also bring pain.
