Review of Captain Corelli's Mandolin (2001) by Kat M — 15 Oct 2012

The two leads look like they have no chemistry. the other characters therefore, fail to add emotion to these wooden frames. the story is not nearly as controversial as the book suggests it should be. Not nearly as tragic either.

The film just fails to give any real feeling, or impact. It needs an all round timbre of cast, music and script to help will the script that sees a disappointing adaptation.
