"Captain America: The First Avenger" stars Chris Evans (Fantastic Four movies) as Steve Rogers who becomes Captain America. The movie is somewhat but not totally faithful to the comic book origin and storylines.

My initial reaction was that this was the best adaptation of.

A Marvel character, better than the first Spiderman, the atmosphere of the war scenes and the action scenes with a "reborn" Steve Rogers impressing and drawiing me in.

Even when I saw moves that appeared to mimic moves by Spiderman I was still enthralled. I was put off near the film end when there was a "mandatory" goodbye kiss and when the action seemed to blur and begin to make little sense. I rate it 7 out of 10.
