Review of Capricorn One (1977) by Greg W — 15 Apr 2009
Looked like a made-for-TV movie (of course, that could be because I remembered seeing bits and pieces on tv back in the '80s), but watchable. About the only moment that really grabbed me was when the astronauts "landed" on Mars, mission control went berserk, all the while the music playing over the scene was a very ominous tone instead of the expected triumphant tone.
Very stark contrast that left me unsettled. I'll remember that scene for quite some time. That and Telly Savalas calling everybody perverts. That was classic.
